In loving memory of Mina Yanney

Mina Yanney was a unique person. He was loving, but strong; very intelligent, but humble. A brilliant young man, Mina had an unusual aptitude for history and finance. He graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a BA in Finance and from Boston University with an MBA. He became a corporate appraiser and vice president at a leading firm, determining values of multi-million dollar private companies. He was always generous to those less fortunate, even as a young child. He was kind to everyone that he met. It was one of Mina’s doctors at Good Samaritan that first detected his cancer. Mina was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the spring of 2000 and lost his fight against cancer on February 11, 2004. Mina touched so many lives during his short time on this earth. Inspired by his compassion and concern for others, his family was moved to support Good Samaritan’s new cancer center as a tribute to his memory in order to provide love and courage to people in our community fighting with cancer.
